Description

Colorful silhouettes of people in various poses and states of motion populate a dark background, each figure rendered in a different bright hue from orange to yellow, pink, blue, and green. The composition captures a snapshot of everyday human activity, from walking and gesturing to playing instruments and standing still, creating a sense of simultaneous, overlapping moments frozen in time. In a living room or creative workspace that celebrates human connection and movement. Woven from textured polyester yarn with a frayed edge and made to order, it ships with a wooden dowel and cotton cord so it hooks onto the wall in one step. Original artwork with a soft, bohemian texture a flat print can't give a room.

About The Artist

instagram: chromoeye (tag me!!) Hi, my name is Lauren! A little about me: I'm from the sweet, sweet state of Louisiana, I recreated Starry Night at age 5 in crayon and my parents haven't let me forget it since, and I'm obsessed with everything 60s, eclectic, and nostalgic. However, despite this obsession with the styles of a bygone era, I like to hold tight to the simple, boldly expressive, and vibrant aspects of the present. I adore art that successfully blends the world of the past with the new possibilities of the present. In short, my work is inspired by life in its simplest form: Bright and dark colors for the good times and bad, an underlying simplicity, and an affection for the past with an eye on the future. I try to invest these little aspects of life that I love dearly into the hearts of my pieces. My one hope is that you see and enjoy these aspects as much as I do, too.
